I am currently Head of the Algorithm and Software Department at the Fundamental Science Research Institute at BYD Auto Co., Ltd., where I lead the development of AI algorithms and software for intelligent vehicles and other product-facing systems. My work focuses on turning emerging AI capabilities into reliable products, from in-vehicle intelligence to enterprise AI applications. Prior to BYD, I was a Senior Research Scientist in Apple AI/ML, where I developed and shipped AI features across Apple products. I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science from Dartmouth College.

My research interests span large language models, agentic AI, multimodal intelligence, and on-device learning. I am particularly interested in efficient and reliable AI systems, and in bridging advances in AI research with real-world deployment.
